The Online Literacy and Numeracy (OLNA) test is a crucial computer-based assessment for Western Australian students, designed to evaluate their reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Meeting the minimum standard in all three components is essential for receiving the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and being eligible for further education in TAFE or university, or employment in many industries. Students are given multiple opportunities to retake the test, starting as early as Year 9 if they don’t meet the standard via achieving an appropriate standard in NAPLAN. Our goal is to provide students with the right support to achieve WACE and open the doors for whatever career aspirations they might have.
